Cloud to IoT Device Reachability with Super SIM IP Commands

Twilio introduces IP Commands as a solution for cloud-to-device reachability without maintaining a persistent connection, reducing data usage and extending battery life. IP Commands enable secure and lightweight communication between IoT devices and the cloud using UDP messages. This feature does not require additional device functionality or expensive infrastructure like VPNs or static public IP addresses. IP Commands support bi-directional communication, allowing for various use cases such as reporting location, uploading sensor data, and joining group VoIP/video calls. The solution is already enabled for all Super SIM devices with no additional cost apart from data usage incurred by the IP/UDP messages between devices and Twilio Mobile Core.
