Introducing Redis Cloud Pro and Essential Versions

We are introducing enhanced versions and new names for our cloud offerings. Redis Enterprise Cloud and Memcached Enterprise Cloud have been unified and renamed to Redis Cloud Essentials. Additionally, Redis Enterprise VPC has been renamed to Redis Cloud Pro. Both products cater to varying use cases from basic small data sets to large global and distributed implementations. Customers can choose their deployment type (multi-tenant or hosted VPC) and we will deliver the relevant set of features based on their business needs. Redis Cloud Essentials is a fully hosted, multi-tenant DBaaS with pricing based on memory size. Redis Cloud Pro is also a fully hosted DBaaS with the addition of a dedicated virtual private cloud (VPC). Both products offer high performance and various features to cater to different customer requirements.
