Supercharging If-Statements With Prompt Classification Using Ollama and LangChain

Lumos is an open-source, free Chrome extension that serves as an LLM co-pilot for browsing the web, powered by local LLMs. It's built on LangChain and Ollama, and is great for tasks such as summarizing news articles, asking questions about restaurant and product reviews, extracting details from dense technical documentation, and even language studies. The author has recently added a calculator tool to Lumos, which uses prompt classification with Ollama to determine when the tool should be executed. Additionally, Lumos now includes multimodal functionality for image downloads based on user prompts. Future plans for Lumos include integrating more tools and exploring the possibility of creating a new browser altogether.
