Rethinking Our Documentation

What's this blog post about?

LangChain, an open-source Python library, has experienced significant growth with over 7 million monthly downloads and contributions from 2,500 developers. However, this rapid expansion has led to challenges in organizing and discovering relevant documentation. To address these issues, new-look docs have been launched, adopting a more robust framework for organization and structure. The guiding philosophy behind the refactor is called Diátaxis, which categorizes all documentation into four types: tutorials, how-to guides, references, and explanations. The updated documentation has been reorganized into sections such as Getting Started, Use Cases, Expression Language, Components, Integrations, Guides and Ecosystem, API References, and Samples. This new structure aims to provide a more seamless learning experience for developers new to LangChain.
