DoubleCloud’s 12th Product Update
DoubleCloud has announced its 12th product update, which includes several new features and improvements. The company now supports Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with services such as Apache Kafka, ClickHouse, and the DoubleCloud Transfer service in dedicated and BYOC modes. GCP users can expect a 20-30% improvement in price/performance ratio compared to previous generations, along with sustainable discounts resulting in lower costs than AWS. DoubleCloud has also achieved PCI DSS certification, ensuring high standards of security for storing, processing, and transmitting cardholder data. Additionally, users can now continuously export logs to external services like Datadog, Amazon S3, and Coralogix. Disk auto-resize is available in preview for ClickHouse, Keeper sub-cluster, and Apache Kafka, preventing service disruptions due to lack of disk space. New-generation instances on AWS offer improved performance with ARM, AMD, and Intel options. The latest version 23.12 of ClickHouse is also available on DoubleCloud, featuring Refreshable Materialized Views. Finally, several quality of life improvements have been made, such as faster cluster creation times, additional charts in the Monitoring section for ClickHouse, and enhanced search capabilities on the Logs page.
