Partnership with National Science Data Fabric catalog to democratize data access
DoubleCloud has partnered with The University of Utah's Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute on the National Science Data Fabric (NSDF) project. This initiative aims to streamline access and storage of extensive scientific data generated by leading organizations and laboratories. Currently, the NSDF-Catalog contains around 70 repositories with over 1.5 billion records totaling more than 75 petabytes of data. The project's goals include coordinating data movement and replication, creating a registry of existing scientific data, and providing tools for data discovery in trans-disciplinary research.
