.NET Core Support in DataStax C# Drivers

The DataStax Enterprise C# Driver and DataStax C# Driver for Apache Cassandra have added support for .NET Core starting from versions 1.1 and 3.1, respectively. This new platform includes a runtime, libraries, and tools while maintaining compatibility with .NET Framework 4.5 and above. The developers are using .NET Platform Standard 1.5 to ensure compatibility across different platforms. They have updated their CI builds to cover both runtimes on Windows and Linux. Integration tests are conducted against various Apache Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise versions, running on both Windows and Linux. LZ4 compression is not yet supported for .NET Core runtime due to the unavailability of support in lz4net package.
