Monitoring Kubernetes performance metrics

Monitoring a Kubernetes environment requires a different approach than monitoring VM-based workloads or even unorchestrated containers. The good news is that Kubernetes provides APIs for automation and cluster management, including robust APIs for collecting performance data.
