Monitor your AWS OpsWorks configuration management
Amazon OpsWorks is a service that simplifies the management of applications hosted on AWS using Opscode's Chef framework for automation and customization. Datadog integration allows users to monitor OpsWorks events, such as instance starts or terminations, and resource attachments or detachments from stacks. OpsWorks organizes infrastructure into three tiers: stack, layer, and instance. Metrics monitoring includes CPU, load, memory, and processes, with automatic tagging by stack and layer for filtering or aggregation purposes. Integrating OpsWorks with Datadog enables correlation of metrics with event data to verify recipe execution plans. Setting up the integration is easy if the main AWS integration in Datadog has already been established.
