Introducing Logging without Limits™

Datadog introduces Logging without Limits™, a new approach that decouples log ingestion from indexing to cost-effectively collect, process, and archive all logs. Users can dynamically choose which logs to index and retain for troubleshooting and analytics, override filters as needed, and store enriched logs in their long-term cloud storage solution at no additional cost. Additionally, users can observe a Live Tail of all processed logs across their entire infrastructure and fine-tune their indexing policies on the fly. This approach ensures maximum visibility during incidents and helps maintain a complete history of operations for auditing purposes.
