Web3 — A vision for a decentralized web

The evolution of the internet has seen significant changes from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0. However, decentralization, one of its core tenets, was lost in this transformation. This is where Web3 comes in, aiming to restore decentralization and privacy by leveraging blockchain technology. Cloudflare is contributing to enabling privacy on the web through various initiatives and operating distributed web gateways that provide an HTTP interface to Web3 protocols like Ethereum and IPFS, making it easier for users and businesses to benefit from Web3.
