Changelog writer GPT and how we automate our changelogs with Axolo

Arthur Coudouy, the founder of Axolo, has developed an automated changelog system using GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer). The Changelog Writer by Axolo GPT transforms raw development inputs into a polished and structured changelog. Axolo's workflow involves sending a DM to the PR author after each merge, asking if they want to add the PR to the next changelog. If the author agrees, the content is sent to a specific Slack channel. On the first day of each month, a cron job queries the conversation and sends it to GPT for creating the changelog. The system has significantly reduced the average time-to-merge from 2.40 days to 1.51 days in some teams using GitHub.
