I tried an experiment where I would do new activities every hour to increase my energy and productivity, which had been lacking due to boredom and sleepiness. I started with a rigid list of activities but found it didn't work for me, so I tweaked the experiment by making the list flexible and allowing myself to choose any activity based on interest and environment. The results showed an increase in energy and new skills learned, such as touch typing, but also some drawbacks like wasted time and analysis paralysis. To optimize the experience, I recommend not going beyond the scheduled time, measuring religiously, setting up activities for the day ahead of time, and cleaning the list before starting.
