We unified our support notifications with Zapier and Google Chrome by funneling multiple applications into a single platform, allowing us to receive consistent and identical formatting and behavior for notifications across all apps. We did this by setting up desktop notifications for Olark, Helpscout, Gmail, and Campfire using Chrome extensions, which enables us to focus on a single task without multitasking support functions. By doing so, we can quickly mute or dismiss notifications as needed, providing a more streamlined experience for our team.
