Miracle Messages is a nonprofit organization that reunites people who are homeless with their loved ones, 400 times and counting, by using digital detectives to track down the separated individuals. The founder, Kevin F. Adler, started the organization in honor of his uncle who suffered from schizophrenia and lived on-and-off the streets for 30 years. Miracle Messages uses automation tools like Zapier to manage its workflows, which have saved time for volunteers and allowed them to focus on supporting people experiencing homelessness. By leveraging technology, the organization can facilitate reconnections between individuals and provide resources and support to those in need.
