You can collect and deliver information from multiple sources, summarize it in a digest, and release the summary in one place. Digest by Zapier is an automated workflow tool that helps you streamline notifications into one place, reducing information overload. It's similar to Schedule by Zapier but controls the delivery of information instead of when a Zap starts. Digest can be used with any app and has separate search and action features. You can create multiple digests and release them in one place, use it for simple summaries, reviewing or recalling information on a regular basis, aggregating information from multiple sources, and more. The tool has three available actions: Append Entry and Schedule Digest, Find Digest, and Release Existing Digest. To set up Digest, you need to create a Zap and add the Digest action, customize how you want individual digest items to appear, decide what information to include, and schedule delivery. You can deliver digests manually or use a recurring schedule. Once you've created your digest and set it to deliver at a manual frequency, you'll need to create another Zap to trigger your digest delivery. The tool also has a Zap History feature that logs all of your Zaps and tasks automated, allowing you to review and troubleshoot your workflows.
