Writing effective sales emails can be challenging, even for experienced professionals. To overcome this hurdle, the author experimented with using ChatGPT to generate sales email content. By testing various prompts and refining them, the author discovered six effective prompts that produced usable sales emails. These prompts included writing a concise and informal cold email, an introductory warm sales email, a LinkedIn prospecting email, a follow-up email, a referral email, and a sales email to someone who's ghosting you. The author emphasizes the importance of testing multiple versions, editing ChatGPT outputs carefully, being as specific as possible with prompts, using descriptive words, creating new chat windows for high-value clients, automating ChatGPT prompts, and utilizing Zapier's ChatGPT plugin to save time.
