Event Streams is an API that allows for centralized streams of event data directly into infrastructure, making it easily accessible and interpretable for informed decision-making. This beta feature now supports data delivery to a webhook sink type, enabling customers to access powerful features without requiring specific streaming infrastructure. The new sink type is designed to accommodate customers who are not using any streaming solutions or need integrations with non-AWS-based platforms. With Event Streams, users can create one or multiple subscriptions and stream data to one or multiple sinks, utilizing various API resources such as event types, sinks, subscriptions, schemas, and Webhook Sink instances. The feature is available in Private Beta to Twilio customers today, with ongoing exploration of additional sink types and expansion of Twilio product data availability through Event Streams.
