To create a positive and sustainable society, we need to identify and empower young leaders from around the world. Schmidt Futures, in partnership with The Rhodes Trust, is tackling this challenge with the launch of Rise, which aims to provide personalized support and resources to talented 15-17-year-olds from underserved communities. The Rise team has developed a mobile application that makes it easy for young people to apply, but also created an alternative application through WhatsApp, ensuring accessibility for those without smartphones or limited data access. This innovative approach allows everyone to participate in the program, regardless of their background or circumstances.
