Twilio is announcing the TwilioQuest Tumult Contest, a 2-week tournament for US-based college students to compete in a PC role-playing game inspired by classic games of the 16th bit era. The goal is to save The Cloud from evil Legacy Systems while learning skills related to Twilio and programming. Teams of 4-5 members from the same school will be competing, with the team that completes the most missions earning a streaming setup worth approximately $1000 per member. The contest starts on October 19th and ends on October 30th, with rules including no experience in computer science or programming required, and teams should all come from the same school.
