The Linked Data Benchmark Council (LDBC) has been actively engaging with industry experts through its Technical User Community meetings to gather input on benchmark development. The second meeting, held in Munich, was a success, featuring presentations from leading graph/RDF data management organizations and a talk by Klaus Großmann of Dshini about their experience using Neo4j as the main data storage technology. This increased industry involvement is expected to lead to more meaningful benchmarks, such as the LDBC data generator, which aims to improve the "realisticness" of generated data. The LDBC project will also be present at upcoming events like GraphLab and GraphConnect workshops and conferences.
