IFG Life, a subsidiary of Indonesia Finance Group (IFG), modernized its infrastructure by migrating to MongoDB Atlas, overcoming challenges with legacy data architectures and seeking a database with integrated graph capabilities. The company needed a solution that could handle data integration, analytics, and visualization, as well as provide expertise in the region. After evaluating several NoSQL vendors, IFG Life chose MongoDB Atlas due to its features such as $graphLookup, Triggers, and Device SDKs, which simplified their process of storing, retrieving, and viewing data. The company is now using MongoDB Atlas for its Customer 360 initiative, enabling better customer understanding and personalized service offerings. Looking ahead, IFG Life plans to incorporate MongoDB Atlas Vector Search to enhance query similarity and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to handle personally identifiable information securely.
