Samantha Wang, a Product Manager at InfluxData, navigated her new commute by testing out the shared bike program in the Bay Area, Bay Wheels. She used the Telegraf HTTP Input Plugin to collect real-time bike station data from Bay Wheels and set up an InfluxDB instance. With Flux, she enriched the data by joining two measurements and created a new "baywheels_enriched" table. She then set up alerting and monitoring, including setting thresholds for critical, warning, info, and okay levels, to notify her when stations were running low on bikes. Samantha joined InfluxData because of its leadership in the time series database and open source space, and she was excited to take on a new challenge as a Product Manager.
