A new maintenance release for InfluxDB OSS (Open Source Software) version 2.0.2 is now available, addressing several important defects and making improvements based on early feedback from the community. The upgrade process has been enhanced to check for continuous queries running during the transition from 1.x to 2.x, while also providing a warning if auth-enabled was set to false in 1.x setups, recommending its reconfiguration with auth-enabled = true before retrying the upgrade process. Additionally, improvements have been made to CLI mappings, Flux and developer tools, UX enhancements, security measures such as backup/restore and scraper configurations, and bug fixes for various issues including filtering task runs by time, addressing multiple entries for 1.x database and retention policies, and using self-signed certificates in scrapers.
