The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the growing need to equip every student with a device, particularly for students who lack access to technology at home. Research shows that the education equity gap is expanding, with 47% of elementary schools, 69% of middle schools, and 72% of high schools lacking devices for each student. However, student tablets can help reduce this gap by promoting digital literacy skills, personalizing learning paths, improving access for learners with disabilities, and fostering stronger communication between students and teachers. By providing every student with a device, educators can enhance the learning experience, promote curiosity, and enable students to develop critical skills such as independent learning, making them better equipped for success after completing their education.
