We've revamped our backlog management system at Doppler to better align with business needs, enhance productivity, and empower stakeholders to manage tasks flexibly while maintaining a continuous workflow through regular task replenishment, ensuring the momentum of our engineering team is maintained by providing autonomy to engineers to choose tasks that match their expertise and current capacity, categorizing tasks into different time slots based on urgency and priority, and employing a periodic replenishment method known as "Re-Up" to adapt to changing dynamics, allowing for flexibility in task management through swaps and trading points, while continuously refining the system to meet evolving needs and challenges.
