In July, DigitalOcean introduced support for PostgreSQL 12 on Managed Databases and released in-place major version upgrade capabilities. Memory-Optimized Droplets are now available in General Availability (GA) in the SFO3 and TOR1 data center regions. DigitalOcean Load Balancer health checks now support the HTTPS protocol, and global SQL modes can be removed from Managed MySQL database clusters. Spaces creation has resumed in NYC3, while tax updates include U.S. state tax collection for AZ, HI, NY, PA, WA, and WV, as well as VAT collection for Saudi Arabia. Several new preconfigured 1-Click Apps were launched in the DigitalOcean Marketplace.
