We received a call today from Robert McMillan from Wired regarding an issue related to virtual servers that may contain data from a previous user. A fix has been implemented, which was deployed to all hypervisors on Tuesday, April 2nd at 2:18:54PM EST, resolving this rare case of reoccurring data issues. All new virtual servers now come with a blank disk, ensuring no way to read previous data, and any customer who processed a destroy prior to the fix will not be affected. Less than 3% of all virtual servers were potentially at risk, but the issue is now entirely erased with the code fix in place.
