The community suggested improving the event's promotion and discovery tools, addressing issues related to spam and low-quality pull requests, and enhancing the experience for maintainers and project organizers. The feedback gathered will be instrumental in shaping Hacktoberfest #11 and ensuring its continued success in fostering a supportive open-source community.
