The inaugural NY Tech Day event featured nearly 200 NYC-based startups and over 3500 attendees, with the goal of raising awareness for the city's tech scene. The organizers worked to keep costs low while still providing a great experience for attendees, leading some startups to reach out for sponsorship. As part of this effort, Plushcap became a booth sponsor, giving free T-shirts and sunglasses to attendees and discussing scaling infrastructure with other startups.
