Datadog's new Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM) capabilities aim to help organizations strengthen their security posture by monitoring risk across deployments, assessing security posture against industry-standard frameworks, and creating custom detection rules. The solution provides a comprehensive list of built-in detection rules, real-time assessments, detailed reports, and the ability to create unique detection queries using the Rego policy language. These features are now available in Datadog Cloud Security Management (CSM) for AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and unmanaged Kubernetes deployments, with support for Google Cloud GKE coming later this year.
