At this year’s DASH conference, Datadog announced several new products and features that enable teams to observe their environment, secure their infrastructure and workloads, and act to remediate problems before they affect customers. These include LLM Observability for generative AI applications, a unified OpenTelemetry experience with the embedded OTel Collector in the Agent, Log Workspaces to take control of log data analysis, Live Debugging to fix production bugs efficiently, Product Analytics to make data-driven UX design decisions, and several security-focused features such as Agentless Scanning for cloud security management, Data Security to discover sensitive data, one-click IaC remediation to quickly find and fix misconfigured cloud resources, Datadog Code Security to detect and fix code-level vulnerabilities in production, and Datadog SCA to automate risk reduction in software supply chains. Additionally, Datadog introduced several new tools to simplify incident response such as Change Tracking on monitor status pages and autonomous investigations by Bits AI. These features aim to improve the overall observability, security, and efficiency of teams using Datadog’s platform.
