Amazon EKS Distro (EKS-D) is a Kubernetes distribution from AWS that enables users to run on-premise clusters with the same tested versions, security features, and tooling as Amazon EKS. Datadog has partnered with AWS for the launch of EKS-D, offering deep visibility into its clusters through integrations for Kubernetes and other key technologies common in Kubernetes environments. EKS-D is a conformant Kubernetes distribution that can be seamlessly migrated to from existing Kubernetes or EKS setups. Datadog's Agent and integrations provide comprehensive monitoring of EKS-D clusters, including control plane, data plane, worker nodes, and network performance. This allows users to visualize cluster health and troubleshoot issues quickly.
