This is my "Hello World", or rather my "Hello Blog" and I wanted to introduce myself. I have come from the startup world where being from the technology scrapyard for the most part means having a thick skin and facing daunting odds, which makes it exciting. I am interested in Disruptive Technology and Businesses, but not all disruptions are good, sometimes they make things harder or less profitable. However, some disruptions can change how we think about the world, technology, and business. What I am particularly interested in is "Being able to do more with less", which I believe is vital for teams to be smaller, lines of code to be fewer, applications to scale easier, and focus on value to be the centerpiece. I found Couchbase along the way, and was incredibly impressed by its potential to achieve this goal. I had grown tired of the sheer amount of code in .NET programming and sought new outlets like Product Management and Team Management. Then I discovered Ruby and NoSQL, particularly Couchbase, which reignited my passion for coding due to its community-driven spirit and paradigm shifts. I am now looking forward to sharing what I have learned and spreading that wisdom so that others can "do more with less".
