The Forest Data Partnership promotes a 'Convergence of Evidence' approach for Forest and Commodities Monitoring, which involves combining multiple datasets to tell the story around any given plot of land. A solution has been launched to help organizations with EU Deforestation Regulation compliance, incorporating methodologies like WHISP and leveraging the Modern Geospatial Analysis Stack, including CARTO's platform, Google Cloud, and Google Earth Engine. The solution allows for spatial analysis on data, enabling organizations to perform analysis directly within their existing cloud environment, ensuring optimal interoperability and data governance measures.
