As a busy professional, the author's life was filled with productivity and freedom until they discovered they were pregnant. They navigated their pregnancy and maternity leave with the support of their team, manager, and family, ensuring a smooth transition back to work. The author found that becoming a mother fundamentally changed their perspective on tech events, focusing on broader accessibility and inclusivity. They traveled to Prague with their baby and gave a talk as a keynote co-speaker, receiving heartwarming responses from the community. With their newfound understanding of time, they now work around their baby's needs and rely on their support network, expanding their horizons and making them proud to bring their daughter along on their developer relations journey.
