Announcing issue-initiated Change Lead Time
Sleuth introduces a new feature allowing users to initiate Change Lead Time (CLT) based on state transitions in their issue tracker. This addition aims to provide visibility into pre-commit coding time and help teams identify bottlenecks in their delivery chains. The debate over the right time to start CLT is discussed, with Sleuth's default setting being from the moment of first code commit. However, customers can now enable and configure issue-initiated CLT on a project-by-project basis using supported integrations like Jira, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Shortcut, and more. Upcoming enhancements will provide additional visibility into issue tracking processes and their impact on DORA metrics.
