Collecting Amazon MQ metrics and logs
In this series, we discuss how Amazon MQ routes messages between services in a distributed application and the key metrics that describe its performance. We also explore tools to collect and query metrics from Amazon MQ, including the Amazon CloudWatch console, command-line interface (CLI), and ActiveMQ Web Console. The CloudWatch console allows users to visualize metrics and analyze logs from AWS services, while the ActiveMQ Web Console is built into each Amazon MQ broker but only shows current values of a few metrics. For complete visibility into your messaging infrastructure, you need a monitoring platform that collects and analyzes metrics and logs from all components of your system.
