Moving from Visual Studio Codespaces to code-server

Microsoft is transitioning Visual Studio (VS) Codespaces to GitHub, removing support for self-hosted Codespaces. As an alternative, code-server allows users to host a VS Code server on their own infrastructure. Key features include using VS Code in the browser with terminal and integrations, password authentication, HTTPS encryption, and compatibility with various machines. To install, run the provided script and follow additional configuration instructions. A new feature enables setting up TLS domain, tunneling, and authentication.
