Warsaw, Poland: CloudFlare's 22nd Data Center
CloudFlare has opened a new data center in Warsaw, Poland, making it their 22nd worldwide and 8th in Europe. The facility will improve performance in Northeastern Europe and Russia while reducing load on the Frankfurt data center. The company selects data center locations based on demand for its services and aims to have backup facilities in case of issues. In the short term, CloudFlare plans to double the size of their London facility, and longer-term expansion may include Moscow, Milan, Madrid, Sofia, and Istanbul. Additionally, one more Asian data center is set to launch as part of this round of expansion.
