Managing Clouds - Cloudflare CASB and our not so secret plan for what’s next
Cloudflare has introduced a new API-driven Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) through the acquisition of Vectrix, aimed at helping IT and security teams detect security issues in their SaaS applications. The CASB looks at both data and users in SaaS apps to alert teams to issues ranging from unauthorized user access and file exposure to misconfigurations and shadow IT. Upcoming updates include new integrations with popular services like Google Workspace, GitHub, Zoom, Slack, Okta, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce, as well as SaaS asset management features and remediation guides with automated workflows. The beta version of Cloudflare CASB is now open for sign-up, allowing users to deploy popular integrations like Google Workspace on day one and provide direct access to the Product team for feedback and suggestions.
