Introducing Workers Usage Notifications
Cloudflare Workers has introduced usage notifications to provide users with insights about their serverless applications' traffic and performance. These notifications come in two forms: a weekly summary of the most popular workers, including total request counts, duration, egress data transfer, and median CPU time; and an on-demand notification triggered when a worker's CPU usage is 25% above its average over the previous seven days. The new feature aims to help users proactively manage their applications and catch significant changes in traffic or code. Currently, notifications are enabled by default for new free accounts but can be customized or disabled as needed. Cloudflare plans to gather user feedback before rolling out these notifications by default for all accounts.
