Cloudflare Data Loss Prevention now Generally Available
Cloudflare has announced the general availability of its new Zero Trust product, Data Loss Prevention (DLP). This feature helps customers identify and protect sensitive data by inspecting traffic moving into, out of, and around their corporate network. DLP is part of Cloudflare One, a Zero Trust network-as-a-service platform that connects users to enterprise resources. The service leverages HTTP filtering abilities to detect sensitive information such as credit card numbers and US Social Security numbers. Proper data usage can include who used the data, where the data was sent, and how the data is stored. DLP works in conjunction with other Cloudflare security services like Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), and API-based Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB).
