Countdown to Paris 2024 Olympics: France leads in web interest

The 2024 Summer Olympics, also known as Paris 2024, will take place from July 26 to August 11 in France. This year's event will feature 329 events across 32 sports, including the debut of breakdancing and the return of skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing. From January 2024 up to late-July, over half a million emails containing "Olympics" or "Paris 2024" in the subject were processed by Cloudflare's Cloud Email Security service. France leads in terms of DNS traffic to official Olympic websites, followed by the UK, the US, and Australia. Cybersecurity concerns have been raised due to an increase in Olympics-related spam and malicious emails.
