A new era for Cloudflare Pages builds
Cloudflare has announced significant updates to its build times, logs, and settings for Pages, a platform designed to fit seamlessly into developers' workflows. The new infrastructure is generally available and automatically enabled for all existing and new projects. Build initialization time has been reduced from 2+ minutes to 2-3 seconds, allowing users to iterate on their code more quickly. Additionally, build logs can now be streamed in real-time, enabling developers to debug issues as soon as they happen. Users also have full control over the precise branches they'd like to include and exclude for automatic deployments. Future updates will focus on implementing incremental builds, caching strategies, build image updates, and more productive error messaging.
