Cloudflare is joining Pledge 1%
Cloudflare has joined Pledge 1%, a global movement of companies committed to giving back to their communities. As part of its pledge, Cloudflare will donate 1% of its products and services, as well as 1% of its employees' time. The company is already involved in several initiatives such as Project Galileo, which provides free security services to public interest organizations; the Athenian Project, offering state and local governments free high-level security and reliability services; and the newly launched Project Pangea, aimed at helping underserved populations connect to the internet for free. Additionally, Cloudflare is now offering all employees three days of annual leave to volunteer in their communities. The company believes that these efforts will not only benefit its local communities but also help build a better internet.
