Announcing the Cloudflare API Gateway

Over the past decade, the internet has evolved from static websites to API-driven applications that support various aspects of life. This growth has led to an increase in complexity on the back end, as developers need to manage APIs and monitor requests. To address this issue, Cloudflare has introduced its API Gateway, which aims to replace existing gateways at a lower cost while offering advanced features for security, management, and monitoring of APIs. The new gateway includes Discovery, Schema Validation, Abuse Detection, mTLS, Authentication, Routing & Management, API Analytics, Logging, Quota Management, and more. These features are designed to protect APIs from various threats while providing a comprehensive solution for managing and monitoring them.
