More Powerful Webhooks
On August 20, 2015, Buildkite introduced a major overhaul to its webhook system. Webhooks allow users to extend and customize Buildkite according to their team's needs. The new version includes new events for better visibility of agents and build queues, the ability to filter each webhook's events by project and branch, and support for SNI endpoints such as AWS Lambda. Shopify and Ferocia are two examples of teams using Buildkite webhooks in innovative ways, including creating an agent clustering dashboard and a CI light board. The webhooks documentation provides details on new events and payloads, along with example implementations for building your own LIFX-powered build light.
