Balancing quality and quantity of data integrations

Airbyte, an open-source data integration platform, has expanded its catalog of connectors from zero to over 100 in the past 18 months. The company aims to reach 500 connectors by the end of this year and has introduced a connector release stages program to ensure quality, reliability, and available feature sets. The three phases for connectors are Alpha (newly implemented), Beta (increased adoption being tested), and Generally Available (highly reliable with robust features). Each stage is evaluated based on adoption, reliability, user experience, documentation, and feature set. Airbyte has also verified its first set of fully verified connectors and will continue to verify the rest of its connector catalog throughout 2022.
