Don’t accidentally leak secrets from your terminal

What's this blog post about?

Secret Redaction is a privacy setting available on all Warp plans that helps users protect sensitive information while working in public spaces or sharing terminal output. By enabling this feature, Warp will use regular expressions to detect and obscure secrets such as API keys, passwords, IP addresses, and other sensitive data. Users can also define custom regex expressions for additional protection. Hovering over masked secrets allows users to copy or reveal them temporarily. This feature is particularly useful when sharing blocks of command line input and output with team members during collaboration or debugging sessions.
